Spain; Bilbao 2010 // 200 Pictures

Bilbao is the largest city in the Basque Country and the capital of the province of Biscay, Spain.
The city has recently undergone major urban renewal. The developments are centered around the new metro system
and the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum.
A new tram line (EuskoTran) was introduced in 2002.
Together with several options for pintxos served with local wines or beers, and other delights this is a perfect destination for a weekendtrip.

Belgium; Antwerp 2010 // 40 Pictures

This year my birthday-present was a suprise. A suprise-weekendtrip to .... Antwerpen.
So on saturdaymorning we took the international train from Rotterdam to Antwerp.
The sun was very friendly to us, so plenty of options to sit in the sun, and enjoy with a Belgian beer (or two, three, four...) together with Kim and Arie. We even took a boattrip and saw some culture!!

Australia; Sydney to Cairns // 315 Pictures

|
Winter in Holland means summertime in Australia, so in februari Wim and I hopped on an airplane to defrost Down Under.
In about four weeks time we visited the Eastcoast, starting in Sydney, followed by Port Macquarie, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Rainbow Beach,
Capricorn Caves, Midge Point, Magnetic Island, Townsville and ending in Cairns.
With 5000+ pictures to choice from it was very difficult to pick the best 315. Have a look at the pictures and enjoy them, like we enjoyed Australia.
